"ESCO-Rivne" - Demonstration Project

Major objective of the Demonstration Project investment in district heating supply and demand side energy efficiency measures is to prove the viability of performance-based cost revenue through ESCO mechanism and support communal ESCO in Rivne during start-up period.

Realization of the Demonstration Project allows achieving of the following results:

Energy Efficiency and Economical effect

Heat loading will increase 3 times (from 23 Gcal/h - 60 Gcal/h);
2,5-3,0 MW/h of electricity additionally will be supplied to the city electricity network;
80% of electricity for own needs of the DHC "KomunEnergia" will be produced by itself during winter-time;
2,0 MW/h of electricity for own needs of the DHC "KomunEnergia" will be covered by own production during summer-time;
The reserved amount of 2,9 MW/h is planned to realize in trolley-buss department and CE "Misksvitlo".

Ecological (Environmental) Effect;

Shut down (closure) of 6 outdated, no effective Heat Individual Boiler Stations.

Social effect.

Increased quality services to Rivne inhabitants. Permanent (12 month a year, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day) and steady:

Hot water supply to the central part of the town of Rivne;
Hot water supply to the district "Pivnichniy"in the town of Rivne;
Heat supply to the central part of the town of Rivne;
Hot water supply to the district "Fabrichniy: in the town of Rivne.
