In process of energy-saving projects implementation the company “ESCO-Rivne” uses up-to-date technology which allow to increase energy efficiency of the projects and reduce the pay-back period.

Heat-insulated mineral cotton goods on basis of basalt fiber

Field of use: insulation of steam pipes, technological-use pipelines, heating and hot water supply networks.

Operating temperature range from +5ºC to +250ºC

Material – basalt cotton TECHROCK make ROCKWOOL.

Basic physical and mechanical data:

  • Thermal conductivity 0, 04 Watt/m*K;

  • Density 90-105 kg/m³

  • Resin rating – up to 4%;

  • Thickness – from 30 mm and more;

  • Flammability – non-flammable.

This technology was used during the heat insulation of pipelines at the boiler-station located at 71 Kn. Volodymyra St. project implementation..

Heat – insulated type polyurethane foam (PUF) good

Field of use: insulation of heating and hot water supply networks (both overground and underground pipelining), insulation of cold wires, cooling chambers, heat exchangers.

Operating temperature range from -40ºC to +250ºC

Material - rigid type polyurethane foam (PUF) – polymer produced by polyol (component A) and isocyanate (component B) polymerization. As a result of polymerization a closed-cell cellular plastic (with cell size less than 0,5mm) is formed.

PUF is non-toxic, non-flammable, allows to make insulating hermetic constructions of any configuration at manufacture and on site (during insulating works).

Basic physical and mechanical data:

  • Density 60 kg/m³

  • Thermal conductivity 0, 04 Watt/m*/K

  • Closed pores – no less than 96%

  • Thickness – 30-80 mm

  • Diameter – 32 – 1020 mm

Heat-Insulated PUF Pipelines in Polyethylene Cover

Heat-insulated PUF pipelines in polyethylene cover are designed for underground non-channel laying.

Diameter from 32/90 to 1020/1200mm

Heat-insulation – foamed polyurethane

PUF make Bayer AG (Germany), density is 60-80 kg/m³ in accordance with EN-253 and thermal conductivity - 0, 03 Watt/m*K. It secures constancy of heat-insulating properties during the whole durability of hot-water system.

Polyethylenes cover (PC)

Polyethylene of high density (PC80) is used for damp proofing of heat-insulated pipes.

The using of polyurethane cover protects heat-insulation and pipe from corrosion and mechanical damages during operation. High chemical durability of polyethylene secures durability of damp proofing from corrosive materials.

This technology was used during the heat network Project’s realization from the boiler-room at Kn. Volodymyra, 71 to the Heat chamber # 39 in the city of Rivne.

Heat-insulated PUF pipes in cover SPIRO

Heat-insulated PUF pipes in spiral galvanized cover are aimed for building of overground laying networks.

Diameter - from 32/90 to 1020/1200mm

Leading pipes – steel pipes.

Cover - spiral galvanized SPIRO.

The hardness of construction and durability to mechanical damages achieved owing to S-similar spiral joint. Cover material protects it from corrosion and secures the damp proofing of pipe construction during the whole operation term of networks.

This technology was used during the heat network Project’s realization from the boiler-room at Kn. Volodymyra, 71 to the Heat chamber # 39 in the city of Rivne.

Heat – insulated pipes for networks of hot water supply

Heat-insulated PUF pipes in polyethylene cover or in SPIRO cover.

Diameter - from 25/90 to 1300/450 mm.

Leading pipes - steel galvanized, copper, polypropylene or enameled.

Polypropylene pipelines have great potential for hot water supply networks.

Their advantages in comparison with steel pipes are:

  • corrosion deficiency;

  • low hydraulic resistance;

  • non-balance of heat elongations.

Implementation of frequency adjustment based on electric drives

Almost all technological machines and devices in industry and communal services are equipped by electric drives. The most widespread is unregulated electric drive based on three-phase an isochronous engines.

In cases of engineering process request the devices’ rate of turnovers change is essential, the regulated electric drives based on complicated electric engines of dc voltage are used.

On base of frequency transformer the frequency electric drive with using of mass, safe and cheep asynchronous engines with briefly closed rotor are implemented. One-time outlay for such electric drive’s implementation repaid during its operation from 0,5 to 1,5 year. It depends on field of use.

Variable-frequency electric drive provides all required behavior of devices:

  • reduced-current start of engine;

  • steady and long-term action by predetermined rate of turnovers;

  • automatic regulating of technological operation factors;

  • wide facilities of adaptation in automatic pilot by engineering process of enterprise.

The use of variable-frequency electric drive allows:

  1. optimize an engineering process;

  2. improve quality of output goods;

  3. power-down;

  4. cut the running costs for service and repair;

  5. raise resource and behavior reliability.

This technology was used during the Project realization at implementation of draught equipment drives system and net pumps in the boiler-room at Kn. Volodymyra, 71 in the city of Rivne.

The change on modern unit pumps is more effective

Insensibly the units fail. Modern unit pumps of west firms (Grunfos, DAB, Wilo, etc.) have better performance specification: bigger coefficient of efficiency, less electric power. Such change improves activity of sewerage pump station and reduces the utilization of electrical energy during unit pumps activity.
